Living in a (free) Virtual World
Since the dawn of the computer people have been paying for software that shouldn't have cost anything at all. Free software has been around forever, and that won't change anytime soon. Though some will "sell out" and start charging, most people keep developing software that competes, and sometimes destroys it's costly competition.
